Rumor: Intel Arc A770 reviews coming in early October
Intel has reportedly communicated new embargo guidelines for the Arc A770 desktop graphics card to reviewers. Sources report that to VideoCardz. Media should be allowed to show the video card on September 30. The first reviews appear a week later.
Under the embargo guidelines, media may publish unboxing videos from the Arc A770 video card on September 30, writes VideoCardz based on own sources. The first independent reviews are said to be published on October 5. The unboxing embargo of September 30 is remarkable, because the video card and its packaging have already been shown several times by media.
If this data is correct, then it is obvious that the first Arc A770 video cards have already been provided to reviewers. Intel recently announced via social media channels that the company will share more information about the Arc A770 in the very near future. The company will hold on September 27 and 28 an Intel Innovation event.
After a long and arduous journey during the development of the Arc graphics cards, a release of the Arc flagship model seems imminent. However, a specific release date has not yet been announced. We will probably hear more about this in the near future. It is unclear whether these embargo guidelines also apply to the Arc A750 or other video cards of this generation. According to previous reports, the Arc A750 would be released at the same time as the Arc A770.
