Rumor: Google Pixel Tablet will have prices starting at 600 euros
The Google Pixel Tablet would cost around 600 or 650 euros in Europe, according to a rumor. It previously became clear that the tablet may be released in June. The accompanying dock will cost around 120 euros.
There will be 128GB and 256GB variants, says WinFuture editor Roland Quandt. The German has proven in recent years that he often has correct information about unannounced releases. With a price around 600 euros, the Pixel Tablet is in the same boat as the iPad, the cheapest version of which came out for 589 euros.
An earlier rumor already stated that Google would like to release its Pixel Tablet in June. The tablet also has 8GB of RAM on board and works on a Tensor G2 SoC from Google itself. Google first showed the Pixel Tablet in May last year and said in October that it would come with a Speaker Dock. The dock combines a separate mode for smart home applications with a speaker. The release announcement is likely during Google I/O. Google’s developer conference takes place next month.
