According to new rumors, the DJI Mavic 3 Pro will have two cameras, which are a wide-angle camera and a zoom lens. The drone, which DJI plans to unveil in November, could also fly for up to 46 minutes on a single battery charge.

DroneDJ and Twitter user Jasper Ellens say they separately received the manual of the Mavic 3 Pro, among other things. According to these manuals and other documents, the Mavic 3 Pro will have a larger 4/3″ sensor than the previous drone. This sensor would be used for the wide-angle camera. This camera has a 24mm lens with an angle of view of 84 degrees, an aperture of f/2.8 to f/11 and can focus from a meter away, the sources report.

This camera is housed in an element that can tilt and rotate. In addition to that wide-angle camera, there is an extra telephoto camera in the Mavic for the first time. It cannot zoom in and out but is fixed at 6x zoom. This camera has a 1/2″ sensor, a 160mm lens with an aperture of f/4.4 and an angle of view of fifteen degrees. This camera can focus from three meters, can be read in the documents.

According to the sources, the wide-angle camera will have a 20-megapixel sensor, eight megapixels more than the sensor of the zoom camera. Videos could be recorded in 5.2k. The Mavic 3 Pro is said to weigh 920 grams, thirteen grams more than the Mavic 2 Pro. Despite the increased weight, the flight time would have increased significantly, so that the drone can now fly for more than 45 minutes without having to be charged. Charging is rumored to be with a USB-C cable.

According to the sources, two variants of the Mavic 3 Pro will appear. The regular version will cost 1,600 dollars, converted with VAT, this is 1650 euros. In addition, there would be a Cine model, which will have a built-in SSD and a 1Gbit/s data cable. This more expensive model also gets the new version of DJI’s Smart Controller with integrated screen that can still send images over a distance of 15 kilometers. The sources claim that the drone will be presented in November.
