Rumor: Diablo 3 and Fortnite are coming to Nintendo Switch

According to game journalist Marcus Sellars, Blizzard is currently working on a version of Diablo 3 for the Nintendo Switch. The popular battle royale game Fortnite would also come out for the Nintendo console.

Sellars reports on Twitter that Diablo 3 is in development for the Switch and should be released sometime in early 2019. He also says that Blizzard wants it to be possible to play the game locally with several copies of the Switch.

According to him, developer Epic Games has announced the arrival of Fortnite for the Nintendo Switch not confirmed, but it is still under development. This popular battle royale game is coming somewhere, according to Sellars in August or September out this year.

It is not very unlikely that Fortnite, which recently reached a peak of 3.4 million concurrent players, will be released on the Switch. Donald Mustard of Epic Games said in January that he was open to a Fortnite port for the Switch, Wccftech reports. He then expressed the hope that Epic Games will achieve this at some point.
