Rumor: CoD Modern Warfare Remastered will be released as a standalone game this month
Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered will be released as a standalone this month. The graphically polished version of CoD Modern Warfare was not available separately until now, but was included in an edition of Infinite Warfare last year.
Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, which includes the remastered Modern Warfare, was released last year. Based on a tipster, the Charlie Intel website reports that the edition is now also available separately and will be available from June 27. The game would cost $40.
Last May, Activision announced that Modern Warfare Remastered was not for sale separately and would only be released in combination with Infinite Warfare for a suggested retail price of 89.99 euros. The remake contains the full single player campaign from the original game and ten multiplayer maps are present. The remaster has dedicated servers and is developed by Raven.
The images show the box of a PlayStation 4 copy of the remake. Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered was released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Presumably, the remake will also come out as a standalone for those three platforms.
