Rumor: Blizzard to announce Overwatch 2 with pve mode and new map
A leaked BlizzCon 2019 document would mention the arrival of Overwatch 2. The successor to Overwatch, which has been rumored for some time, would include a pve mode and a new map.
The BlizzCon 2019 demo guide, which ESPN got its hands on, contains an image that shows the Overwatch logo with a small “2” next to it. Blizzard will hold its BlizzCon conference next weekend and, according to rumors, the company will announce Overwatch 2 and Diablo IV there, among others.
Overwatch 2 will feature a PVE mode with hero talents and in-game items, and one of the missions will involve a four-player storyline set in Rio de Janeiro, ESPN claims. In addition, the game is getting a new game mode called Push that takes place on a map in Toronto. In addition, it is expected that at least one new hero will be added.
Last week, a Twitter user already claimed that Blizzard was going to announce Overwatch 2, and he also mentioned that the game will have a pve and pvp mode. Back in June, it was rumored that Blizzard had put developers from other projects, including a StarCraft shooter, on Overwatch 2.
