Rumor: Apple’s foldable laptop will be released in 2026
Apple is reportedly planning to release its first laptop with a foldable screen in 2026. The company is now said to be in discussions with suppliers. According to a previous rumor, Apple was testing a foldable laptop with a 20″ screen.
The unveiling would take place in 2025, with the first devices delivered in 2026, reports Business Korea. The sources do not provide any further details about the screen. In February last year, sources indicated that Apple was working on a 20″ foldable laptop with a 4K screen. The bottom of the screen could serve as a virtual keyboard and there would be no trackpad.
It is not clear whether it will be a MacBook or an iPad; Business Korea writes about a MacBook, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said earlier this year that a foldable iPad is coming. Then he mentioned 2024 as the year.
