Rumor: Apple will show next iPhones in August
Apple will present its next iPhones in August, believes an analyst who has repeatedly shown correct information in advance in recent years. With that, Apple would present its new iPhones earlier than it has done in previous years.
Because Apple usually allows ten days between the presentation and the release of an iPhone, the iPhones should be released by the beginning of September, for example on September 4. Analyst Kuo Ming-chi makes his prediction to the Chinese newspaper China Post. Ming-chi is known for accurate predictions about Apple products.
Apple would equip its new iPhones with Force Touch, a technology it already used in the Apple Watch and the trackpads of various laptops. With Force Touch, the phone recognizes whether the user presses hard or softly on the screen and various actions can be associated with it.
Just like last year, there would be two models, with a 4.7″ and a 5.5″ screen. Apple presented its iPhone 6 last year on September 9, followed by a release in Germany, France and the United States on September 20, among others.
