AMD will release its Radeon 6700 XT graphics card on March 18. That reports the French tech medium Cowcotland. This video card with the RDNA 2 architecture will probably have to compete with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 with 12GB that should be released later this month.

Cowcotland reports the date of March 18 on its own Twitter account and says in a short message on the website that the release date has been learned ‘through our network’. There will also be a custom Radeon 6700 XT graphics card. The French website further says they have been informed that the quantities available will be ‘very limited’. That is in line with the current poor availability of video cards in general.

According to previous rumors about the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, the video card will have a Navi 22 GPU with 40 compute units and 2560 stream processors. These GPUs would have a 192-bit memory bus. It will be AMD’s first video card with this GPU. AMD has not yet announced the official specifications. However, the manufacturer previously confirmed that it will release new RDNA 2 video cards in the first half of this year. The GPUs will probably also get Infinity Cache.
