Rumor: AMD Radeon Pro Duo is on sale from April 26 for 1695 euros
A Spanish website has published pictures of the XFX AMD Radeon Pro Duo. The website also claims to have the specifications of the video card with two Fiji GPUs. The GPUs would have a maximum clock speed of 1000MHz.
AMD introduced its Pro Duo video card in mid-March, but did not disclose all specifications yet. For example, the clock speed of the double Fiji GPU was not yet known. The Spanish website El Chapuzas Informático has now released more information. The Spaniards managed to get their hands on information about XFX’s implementation of the AMD Radeon Pro Duo.
The card would have a maximum GPU speed of 1000MHz, which is slightly slower than the Fury X, which runs up to 1050MHz. The hbm memory, of which 4GB per gpu is present, runs at 500MHz, just like with the Fury X. The video card has a total of 8192 stream processors, 512 tmu’s and 128 rop’s. The card itself has dimensions of 281×116.5x42mm, but it also has a 120mm radiator attached to it as part of the built-in water cooling. There are three displayport 1.2 connections along with an hdmi 1.4a port.
AMD itself announced at the introduction that the card will cost $ 1499 and will be on the market in the second quarter of 2016. According to the leaked information, the euro price is 1695 euros and the card will be on sale from April 26. According to the Spanish website, the video card will be on the market in a very limited edition. This may have to do with the fact that the new GPUs based on the Polaris architecture will probably be presented soon.
