AMD may come with two different RX 6700 XT video cards. These GPUs would each have a different total graphics power, but otherwise have the same specifications. The video cards would be released in mid-March.

YouTube user and analyst Coreteks reports based on their own sources that the two variants have different capabilities. Variant A would have a tgp of 230W and would be intended for RX 6700 XT graphics cards with a factory overclock. Variant B will have a tgp of 189W according to Coreteks. That model would have lower clock rates and be reserved for reference cards and partner models without overclocking. Variant A, with the higher tgp, would also have a higher purchase price for board partners. AMD would not officially distinguish between the two SKUs, according to Coreteks.

The analyst also reports that both RX 6700 XT models have 12GB of GDDR6 memory, which is in line with previous rumors. The memory speed has not yet been definitively determined, but would currently still be 16Gbit/s, just like with the RX 6800 and RX 6900 GPUs. Coreteks further reports that the RX 6700 XT would outperform the RX 5700 XT on average by 20 to 25 percent. The YouTube user does not mention the amount of Infinity Cache. AMD is said to be planning to release the RX 6700 XT models the week of March 15. French tech medium Cowcotland previously reported that the GPU may appear on March 18.

AMD would also come with an RX 6700 video card. Coreteks shares little concrete information about this GPU, but does state that the video card will have 6GB GDDR6 memory. Earlier RX 6700 6GB listings appeared at the Eurasian Economic Commission. Coreteks expects the video card to appear in mid-April, although this has not yet been officially confirmed by AMD.
