Rumor: 2K Games Is Working On Rocket League Competitor With Engines
Game studio 2K Games is developing the game Gravity Goal. This is what the usually well-informed leaker Tom Henderson claims based on sources. It is broadly similar to Rocket League, but features motorcycles instead of cars.
The players control Tron-like engines in Gravity Goal, writes Henderson on the website Computerer. The aim of the game is the same as that of Rocket League: to score as many goals as possible before the time runs out.
Players are divided into two teams and can play matches with two players, four players or six players. During the match, players can use a discus, which they can throw at their opponents to stop or slow down their vehicles. How hard the discus hits and how much damage it does depends on its own speed and that of the opponent.
It is not yet known when Gravity Goal will be released. 2K Games has not officially announced the game yet. According to Henderson, it is possible that the game will be revealed in the coming months. Gravity Goal will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
