Publisher Rockstar is working on new recordings for Grand Theft Auto V’s in-game radio stations that will be used in the new version of the game for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The new version should be released this fall.

The new recordings became known when actress Cara Delevinge posted a photo on Instagram showing that she is visiting Rockstar. The accompanying text shows that she came to record new lyrics for the in-game radio station Non Stop Pop FM, which she also presented in the original release of Grand Theft Auto V. It is not known whether all radio stations will receive an update, and whether only the texts of the presenters or also the music itself will be adapted for the new release.

The radio stations have traditionally played an important role in Grand Theft Auto, as gamers who get into a vehicle in the game will almost always hear music from one of the radio stations. Like the previous GTA games, Grand Theft Auto V features a varied selection of music channels where gamers can listen to country, pop, rock and hip-hop, among other things.

That next-gen release, which brings GTA V to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, is still slated for this fall, Rockstar announced last weekend. The lack of a concrete release date, while it should be relatively soon approaching, worried some fans. However, the development studio reassured those fans by stating that the release date has not been adjusted.
