Rockstar Games Unveils GTA+, A Monthly Subscription for GTA Online

Rockstar Games unveils a subscription to GTA Online where players will receive in-game content and cash for $5.99 per month. GTA+ will be available on March 29 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S versions of the game. No euro price has yet been announced.

GTA+ subscription customers receive GTA$500,000 each month, discounted purchases, additional RP, and access to content from past events, among other things. let Rockstar know. In addition, the subscription offers new extra bonuses every month. In the first month, between March 29 and April 27, players can expect a selection of free car paint, free membership to the LS Car Meet Membership, special clothing items and early access to Hao’s Special Works upgrade. Players must collect all the rewards through the in-game web browser.

Rockstar also promises extra discounts on purchases in the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store. Through the virtual stores, players can purchase Shark Cash Cards. These microtransactions give players GTA$, with GTA+ members receiving additional in-game cash. It is not known how much discount customers receive. For comparison, a current Shark Cash Card worth GTA$500,000 costs roughly 7.50 euros. The currency can be used in GTA Online to purchase vehicles, clothing, weapons and homes.
