Rockstar Games makes GTA IV playable on Xbox One
Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto IV and both DLCs, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, are now available on Xbox One through its backward compatibility program.
Users who previously purchased the game for the Xbox 360 can download it for free for their Xbox One, Rockstar Games writes. The game can also be purchased in the Xbox Marketplace. Users who have a physical version of the game or expansions can also play the game on their Xbox One.
The list of Xbox 360 games that work on the Xbox One is steadily growing. There are now more than three hundred games available. The games run through software emulation, so developers don’t have to make a lot of adjustments to make their game work on the Xbox One.
