Rockstar apologizes for problems with PC version Red Dead Redemption 2
Gamemaker Rockstar has apologized for the problems PC gamers are experiencing with Red Dead Redemption 2. A new update that should be released soon should really solve the problems, according to the studio.
There were trading according to Rockstar unforeseen problems with the combination of certain Nvidia cards, Nvidia drivers and processors. Players are complaining that recent updates have not fixed the issues with launcher crashes and in-game stuttering. The update is not out yet at the time of writing.
It is at least the third update that should solve problems. Last week there were already two updates that should have solved the problems. Rockstar claims that a relatively small number of players are still dealing with the problems. The release of Red Dead Redemption 2 did not go smoothly according to many PC gamers. Several users reported that the game often crashes or even doesn’t start at all. The game came out for PC last week, after releasing for Xbox One and PS4 a year ago.
