Roccat introduces rgb keyboard with Cherry switches
Roccat has launched a new keyboard with RGB lighting for gamers. The Ryos MK FX features Cherry MX mechanical switches and has a polling rate of 1000Hz, giving it a response speed of 1ms.
The keyboard is 50.8 cm wide, 23.4 cm deep and 4.4 cm thick, and weighs 1600 grams. Each key in the mechanical keyboard features RGB lighting, making 16.8 million colors available. The Ryos MK FX uses N-key rollover, allowing the keys to be scanned completely independently by the hardware. In addition, the keyboard has a total of 94 programmable keys, including three thumbster keys below the space bar and five macro keys. Roccat claims the keys last 50 million times.
The keyboard has a 1.8m USB cable and audio input and output. The Ryos MK FX also contains two ARM-Cortex processors of 32bit and 2MB of flash memory. The keyboard uses Roccat’s Easy-Shift+, which allows each key to be programmed with a second function. AlienFX allows the keyboard lighting effects to be linked to games that support them. Using Roccat Swarm, all Roccat products can be linked together to work with each other.
According to the company, the Roccat Ryos MK FX is available immediately and costs 199.99 euros.
