Roborock unveils S8 Max Ultra robot vacuum cleaners with suction power up to 10,000Pa
Roborock has unveiled four new robot vacuum cleaners, including the S8 Max Ultra and S8 MaxV Ultra with a suggested retail price starting at $1,600. In addition, the Q Revo MaxV and Q Revo Pro will be available from $1000. The manufacturer is also introducing new Flexi stick vacuum cleaners with a mopping function.
The Roborock S8 Max Ultra and S8 MaxV Ultra are robot vacuum cleaners with a mopping function that should be suitable for cleaning hard-to-reach places in the house, with a corner coverage of ‘at least’ 99 percent. The suction power of the models has been increased to 8000 and 10,000Pa, compared to the 6000Pa of the S8, S8 Plus and S8 Pro Ultra variants that Roborock released last year. The S8 MaxV Ultra also has a built-in voice assistant and supports Matter. The S8 Max Ultra has a suggested retail price of $1,600; the S8 MaxV Ultra will cost $1,800. The robot vacuum cleaners will be available from April.

The Q Revo models are also robot vacuum cleaners with a mopping function. The Q Revo Pro and Q Revo MaxV have an edge coverage of 98.8 percent and a suction power of 7000Pa, which was 5500Pa for the original Q Revo. The Q Revo MaxV has the built-in voice assistant Hello Rocky. Roborock asks for a suggested retail price of $1,000 for the Q Revo Pro; for the Q Revo MaxV it is $1200. Both models will be available from April 2024.
In addition, Roborock introduces the Flexi series, consisting of the Flexi and the Flexi Pro. These stick vacuum cleaners are marketed as ‘flexible, lightweight solutions’ for vacuuming and mopping. The devices have a suction power of 17,000Pa and can be laid flat for cleaning under low furniture. The Flexi Pro should be easier to handle due to the presence of automated, adaptive wheels and can provide voice notifications. The price and availability of the Flexi models will be announced ‘soon’.
