Roadmap points to the arrival of two Asus Chromebooks and new Transformer Book
From a roadmap that would come from Asus, it can be concluded that the company will release two Chromebooks. In addition, a new Transformer Book is also listed. Furthermore, a render of a large Asus Zenbook with UHD screen has appeared.
The roadmap has been published by the Asian VR Zone, which more often releases authentic information from Taiwan early. The roadmap shows that Gaming and Zenbooks will remain the high-end segments, that the N, X and K models should provide more market share and the Transformer Book Trio should tap into a new market.
The company’s Chromebooks would be type names C200 and C300. It is unclear whether these are models with different screen sizes such as 11.6″ and 13.3″. In addition to the Chromebooks, there will be a new Transformer Book with type name T200. Since the T100 had a 10.1″ screen and the T300 a 13.3″ screen, it can be assumed that this is an 11.6″ or 12.1″ model.
Finally, a render of the Zenbook NX500 has appeared at NotebookItalia. This would be a 15.6″ laptop with elements of the N-series of more powerful models and the UX line of thin laptops, with a UHD screen. However, the site does not have any further details yet.
