Riot Games is releasing its auto-battler Teamfight Tactics for smartphones this week. The game has been available for PCs since last year and there is crossplay with that version. It is the first mobile game from the League of Legends maker.

Teamfight Tactics is a free-for-all eight-person strategy game in which players must use champions and items from League of Legends to defeat each other. Players must tactically place their characters on a grid and the battle is then automatically fought. The last one standing wins.

The game came out for PC last year and has 80 million players, according to Riot. The smartphone version will have crossplay with the PC version, and along with the arrival of the game for Android and iOS, there will be a Galaxy expansion to the game with new themes and champions.

In the Google Play Store, Android users can sign up to receive the game as soon as it is available. There is no link in the App Store for iOS yet, but the mobile version of Teamfight Tactics should also be available there on Thursday.
