Cadence of Hyrule, a rhythm game inspired by the world of Zelda, is out for Nintendo Switch. In the game, the player has to stay in the right size to defeat monsters and progress.

Cadence of Hyrule merges the world and music of Zelda with the rhythmic gameplay of Crypt of the NecroDancer, according to Nintendo. The game uses rhythm and music to defeat enemies. The player starts the game as Cadence, the main character from Crypt of the NecroDancer, after which the player can continue playing as Zelda or Link.

The world and dungeons in the game are procedurally generated, which means that no level is the same. The game features music from classic Zelda games. There is also the possibility to use items and weapons from The Legend of Zelda or Crypt of the NecroDancer. For example, a torch can be used for more light, enemies can be shot with a bow and Bombchus are present.

The game was announced a few months ago by Nintendo, with the company only stating that the game would be released sometime in the spring of 2019. During E3, Nintendo released a trailer for the game; Cadence of Hyrule has been out since Thursday. The game is developed by Brace Yourself Games and costs 25 euros via the Nintendo eShop.
