Respawn Releases Trailer And Release Date For Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
As promised, Respawn has released information about the upcoming game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The game should be available on November 15, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The reveal was at an event at Star Wars Celebrations, the creator explained that the game takes place after Revenge of the Sith, where the Jedi are defeated. The player takes on the role of a padawan, or Jedi apprentice, named Cal Kestis who survived Order 66. In the game, Cal must stay out of the hands of the Empire and complete his training as a Jedi.
This includes action with lightsabers, and The Force also makes an appearance. According to the makers there are “intense lightsaber battles like in the movies” in the game. It is also possible to have the lightsaber evolve, but what exactly is meant by that is not yet clear; probably it is possible to collect several upgrades for the lightsaber in the game.
EA will release Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on November 15, with the PC version playable via Origin. A version will also be available for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. It is already possible to place a pre-order, with EA asking 70 euros for the game. Those who pre-order will receive additional cosmetic content. EA has indicated that there are no microtransactions in the game, and that there is no multiplayer mode.
