Resident Evil 3 Remake Coming April 3, 2020 For Consoles And PC
Sony and Capcom have announced a remake of Resident Evil 3. Like the Resident Evil 2 remake, this game will have an over-the-shoulder perspective, rather than the original static camera. The game is out for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Capcom and Sony have shown a trailer, gameplay and some separate screenshots, spread over two videos. It shows that the zombies, the private army of Umbrella Corp. and the Nemesis are back again. Players take on the role of Jill Valentine just like in the original game that came out in 1999.
The original game only contains a single player game, but the remake will also get multiplayer. In September, Capcom showed footage from Resident Evil: Project Resistance. In it, four players have to traverse levels while a mastermind, who can place zombies in the level, set traps, lock doors, turn off lights, but also roam the building himself. That game multiplayer mode will be integrated into the remake.
The Resident Evil 2 remake, which was released early this year 2019, has been warmly received by critics and players alike. The game was praised for an entertaining combination of new and classic gameplay as well as polished graphics. The Resident Evil 3 remake will be released on April 3, 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and on Steam.
