Renowned indie game Vampire Survivors comes out for free on iOS and Android
The popular roguelike Vampire Survivors has been released for free for iOS and Android. Developer Luca Galante unveiled the mobile version at The Game Awards. The Xbox and PC versions of the game currently cost 5 euros.
The mobile version of Vampire Survivors was not announced first as far as we know and was suddenly via the Play Store and AppStore available. On his website informs the developer, known by his alias poncle, that the full game is free. There are no microtransactions or loot boxes in the game. He does say that after games, an optional advertisement is sometimes offered that rewards players with an extra life or in-game money when they choose to watch the advertisement. He promises that current DLC for the game will also come to the mobile version.
Vampire Survivors was released as an early access title for PC in early 2021 and the full version was released on October 20. On November 10, the Xbox Series and Xbox One version, as well as a variant for the Game Pass, hit the market. The game combines roguelike elements where the player starts over after death, although there are permanent upgrades and new characters to unlock. The game is also typified by the bullet hell elements, where countless enemies have to be avoided while the character attacks automatically.
