Renders show suspected Nokia 9 design with five rear cameras
Renders have appeared online that may show the design of the Nokia 9, a new high-end device from manufacturer HMD. The images show that the phone has at least five cameras on the back.
The website 91mobiles, which published the renders in collaboration with OnLeaks, points to the presence of five cameras on the back. More than five cameras appear to be visible in the images, but that would be an LED flash and a proximity sensor.
A physical fingerprint scanner is not visible on the device, which seems to indicate the presence of a fingerprint scanner behind the screen. The renders do not show a 3.5mm jack for headphones; this was also missing on the Nokia 8 Sirocco. In addition, a USB type-c connection is available and the phone has a glass back.
Nothing official is known about the specifications yet, but the device seems to have a 5.9 “screen with an 18: 9 ratio. The phone is expected to be 155 × 75 × 7.9 mm in size. Previous reports speculated that the Nokia 9 runs standard on Android 9 and gets a Snapdragon 845. Furthermore, the phone would get 8GB of ram, 128GB of storage and a 4150mAh battery. The device will probably be released early next year, for an unknown price.
