Renders show Samsung smartphone with pop-up camera
Renders of an alleged Samsung phone with a pop-up camera have appeared. This would be the first phone with such a selfie camera from the manufacturer. The device will probably be released in the company’s Galaxy A series.
The images were shared by Pigtou, in collaboration with OnLeaks. The latter makes renders based on CAD drawings, and has often shared accurate information about unannounced smartphones in the past. He already shared renders of the OnePlus 8 in October. According to OnLeaks, this specific device would be Samsung’s first phone with a pop-up camera. Currently, Samsung processes the selfie cameras of many devices in a hole in the screen.

Pigtou speculates that this phone will be released in the Galaxy A series. The device has a screen diagonal of 6.5 “, but the resolution and screen ratio are not mentioned. The phone is 160.9 mm high, 77 mm wide and 9.2 mm thick. If you include the camera island on the back, the phone is 9.7mm thick. The smartphone has a fingerprint scanner on the back, and also seems to contain an infrared emitter.
