Renders show Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition in four different colors
Well-known leaker Evan Blass has shared renders of an as yet unannounced Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition. The renders show, among other things, four color options of the phone. The Galaxy S21 FE is expected in the third quarter of this year.
Under the color options off the renders of Evan Blass include a purple and olive green Galaxy S21 Fan Edition. In the images, those color variants both have an appropriate background. EvLeaks also shows a black and white Galaxy S21 FE.
The renders of Blass, also known as EvLeaks, also show the design of the Galaxy S21 FE. Earlier this year, OnLeaks also published renders of the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition, which, among other things, showed the design of the unannounced smartphone. The new renders from EvLeaks seem to confirm this earlier leak.
The phone shows great similarities with the Galaxy S21, which Samsung released in January. According to the renders, the S21 Fan Edition will have a plastic housing with a metal frame. The biggest difference between the regular S21 variants and the S21 ‘FE’ is the plastic camera island, which flows into the back of the device. The regular S21 smartphones have glass camera islands.
According to previously leaked details, the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition would also receive a 4500mAh battery, which may support 25W fast charging. It is still unknown which soc is in the smartphone. For example, last year’s 5G version of the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition had a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. The regular S21 smartphones in Europe have Samsung Exynos socs. Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition in the third quarter of 2021. According to a leaked roadmap, that will happen in August, but this has not yet been officially confirmed.
