Renders show OnePlus’ first tablet with 11.6″ screen and round camera island
OnLeaks publishes renders of the alleged OnePlus Pad tablet. According to information from the leaker, this tablet will have a metal housing and a round camera island at the back. OnePlus is expected to officially announce the tablet on February 7.
The OnePlus Pad will have a screen with an 11.6″ diagonal, writes MySmartPrice in collaboration with well-known leaker OnLeaks. However, the exact panel type is not yet known. The Android tablet will also have a front camera that is incorporated into the horizontal screen edge, reports the leaker, who usually makes renders based on CAD drawings that he receives. According to OnLeaks, the renders of this OnePlus Pad are based on photos of a tablet used by OnePlus for product validation testing.
On the right side of the metal casing are volume buttons, while on the left side there is a cutout. MySmartPrice speculates that that notch could be used to store a stylus. There is also a round camera island on the back of the device. It is currently not known whether one or two cameras are included. Further specifications of the tablet are not yet known.
OnePlus will hold a Cloud11 event on February 7. The company is then expected to launch its OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 11R phones for global sales. The smartphone maker would also show its first tablet at the same event. OnePlus published rather a Twitter teaser for his presentationwhich already seemed to hint at the arrival of a tablet.
