Renders show Motorola smartphone with four cameras on the back
Renders of a Motorola smartphone with four cameras on the back have appeared. The smartphone has no connection for Moto Mods, so it does not seem to be a new device in the Moto Z series.
In addition to the four cameras, the housing shows a USB-C port and 3.5mm jack on the bottom, with a speaker on the top of the housing. The screen on the renders that Cashkaro and OnLeaks published has a drip notch at the top. The phone measures 159x75x8.8mm and has a 6.2″ screen with an aspect ratio around 19:9 and a surface area around 94cm2.
It is unknown what the cameras are for. The renders show the cameras with the same lenses and that may indicate a setup as with the Nokia 9 PureView with all the same cameras in order to capture more light and fill in details. Many manufacturers use a multi-camera setup for multiple focal lengths to combine an ultra-wide, wide-angle and telephoto lens in one phone.
There is still much unknown about the smartphone and the most important of these is when the device will hit the market. Lenovo has not denied or confirmed the information, but manufacturers rarely, if ever, respond to the appearance of renders. In the past, OnLeaks has often published correct renders of many smartphones, including Motorola.
