Renders show GeForce RTX 2060 video card from Zotackaart
Renders of a GeForce RTX 2060 video card from Zotac have surfaced online. The video card is a lot shorter than the RTX 2070 and 2080 versions and is suitable for itx housings, according to the images from a Spanish site.
Zotac’s version of the RTX 2060 resembles the Zotac RTX 2070 Mini, a small variant of the higher positioned video card it released earlier. The renders of the Zotac RTX 2060 video card were discovered by the Spanish website hd-tecnologia and appear to come from the official Zotac website.
The Zotac version has two fans and an eight-pin connection. Further details are not disclosed by the photos. Earlier this week, registrations from Gigabyte showed that RTX 2060 versions with 3GB, 4GB and 6GB are likely to come. There will also be variants with gddr6 and gddr5 or gddr5x.
According to rumors, the RTX 2060 will have a GPU with 1920 cudacores. The RTX 2070, 2080 and 2080 Ti have 2304, 2944 and 4352 cudacores respectively. The RTX 2060 is the lowest positioned model with ray tracing cores. However, it is not yet clear how many RT cores the model will receive.
Nvidia has not yet officially announced the RTX 2060, but will probably do so during its press conference at the CES electronics fair. Nvidia’s presentation is next Sunday. The company is expected to show RTX video cards for laptops.
