Renders have surfaced online of what would be the first Samsung Galaxy smartphone with dual rear cameras. It concerns the Galaxy C10, an unannounced model in the manufacturer’s C series.

It is still unknown what Samsung uses the dual camera for. There are various setups for the additional camera in use with smartphones. Huawei uses a monochrome sensor for the second camera, Apple and Xiaomi deploy a lens that enables a variant of optical zoom, and LG has put a wide-angle lens on its smartphones.

The renders of the C10, which according to Pricebaba and OnLeaks are based on CAD drawings from factories, also show an extra button on the housing compared to other Galaxy C phones. Presumably this is a Bixby button, as on the Galaxy S8.

The fingerprint scanner is located in a button under the 5.5 “screen. It is probably an OLED panel. According to the information, the phone is 15.2 x 7.5 cm in size and around 7.7 mm thick. It is probably a metal housing, since antenna lines are visible Other specifications, such as the soc used and details about the software, are still missing.

It is unknown when Samsung wants to present the C10. Phones in the C series have not been released in the Benelux until now. The series has been around since last year.
