Renders show details OnePlus 6T smartphone
New renders of the suspected OnePlus 6T have appeared. The renders show a small notch in the screen and a back that almost completely matches that of the OnePlus 6. That phone appeared this spring.
The renders show few design changes except for the teardrop notch at the top of the screen. As with the OnePlus 6, there will be glossy black and matte black versions, WinFuture claims. In recent years, that site has put correct renders of unannounced smartphones online much more often. All sensors except the front camera and the speaker are located in the bezel above the notch. The renders also show the sides, where the alert slider can be seen, just like with previous OnePlus devices.
OnePlus has already announced some details of the device. For example, the fingerprint scanner shifts from the back to the front; he comes behind the screen. Sister company Vivo was the first to sell a phone with a fingerprint scanner behind the screen. Oppo also offers the function in the R17 and R17 Pro, among others. The 3.5mm jack is also disappearing, something OnePlus said until six months ago that a large majority of users appreciated and would therefore stay.
It is not the first time that renders of the OnePlus 6T have appeared. The images are very similar to those of OnLeaks, which is based on CAD drawings from factories. However, these renders seem to be the marketing renders that OnePlus uses itself. OnePlus will probably present the 6T on October 17. That date appeared on a screenshot from the manufacturer last month.
