Renders presumably show LG V40 ThinQ smartphones with five cameras
Renders have appeared that presumably show the LG V40 ThinQ. It would be the first phone with five cameras: three on the back and two on the front. The device should be released this fall.
The render of the front shows the date November 16, making it obvious that this is the date of the presentation, MySmartPrice, who put the renders online, guesses. The site has no specs of the phone and it is unknown what the three cameras on the back are for. LG has put a regular camera and one with a wide-angle lens in its high-end phone for the past two years.
The screen on the front has a notch. The current G7 ThinQ, which came out this spring, also has such a notch in the screen. At the bottom there is a USB-C port and 3.5 mm connection, while on the housing, just like the G7, there seems to be room for a Google Assistant button.
LG released the predecessor V30 at the end of last year. The South Korean manufacturer has not yet released anything about a successor, although it did say at the beginning of this year that models would remain on the market longer. As a result, there is a chance that the V40 will not be launched on the market until later.
