Renders of Samsung Galaxy View 2 tablet with 17.5″ screen appear online
Images that have appeared on the internet reportedly show the Samsung Galaxy View 2. The successor to Samsung’s large tablet from 2015 will get a 17.5 “screen and a larger stand, according to the source.
The Galaxy View 2 seems with its 17.5 “screen somewhat more compact than the original Galaxy View, which has an 18.4 “screen, writes SamMobile, who publishes the images. There is a large kickstand on the back of the screen. When closed, the tablet can rest at an angle on a surface and thus make typing easier, for example. When folded open, the large tablet can stand vertically and can be used for example for watching video.
The kickstand appears to have a leather-like finish and the tailgate contains a large round hole. The handle on the back of the original Galaxy View is gone. Earlier rumors already showed that the tablet will have a Samsung Exynos 7885-soc and 3GB of RAM. The images that have now appeared show an AT&T logo on the back, which makes it clear that at least that provider is making the tablet available in the US. Whether Samsung will also release the Galaxy View 2 in other countries and when that will be is not yet known.
