Renders of Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 show relatively thin screen edges

Renders have appeared that may show the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S4. What is striking about the images is that the screen edges at the front are a lot thinner compared to the predecessor, the Tab S3.

In addition to the thinner screen edges, the S4 seems to have a 16:9 or 16:10 aspect ratio, while the S3 has a 4:3 screen. Furthermore, unlike the S3, the Tab S4 seems to have no physical buttons on the front. Looks like a fingerprint scanner according to the website Android Headlines also missing. According to rumors, the new tablet from Samsung will have a 10.5 “screen, while the Tab S3 has a 9.7” screen.

In May, the Wi-Fi Alliance seemed to confirm the release of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4. Final specifications are still unknown, but partly based on previous rumors, it is assumed that a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835-soc, 4GB ram, 64GB storage memory and a battery with a capacity of 7300mAh. The Tab S3 has a Snapdragon 820, 32GB of storage and a 6000mAh battery.

The Tab S3 came out more than a year ago, while the Tab S2 appeared in stores in 2015. The Tab S models are Samsung’s most expensive Android tablets. For example, the Tab S3 cost between 650 and 700 euros at release.
