Renders of Moto Z2 Force and Moto E4 smartphones appear online
Renders have appeared of the successors of the Moto Z Force and the Moto E 2016. The Moto Z2 Force would get a dual camera, while the Moto E4 will get a fingerprint scanner compared to its predecessor.
Both renders come from twitterers Slashleaks and OnLeaks. Like last year’s Moto Z, the Z2 Force seems to have a thin case, around 5mm. Last year’s Force version is about 7mm thick. The length, width and connection appear to be the same; the screen seems a bit bigger than in last year’s Moto Z. Furthermore, Lenovo seems to keep its promise to keep devices compatible with Moto Mods this year.
The Moto E4 resembles the recently released Moto G5 and G5 Plus, with a convex housing and a fingerprint scanner under the screen. Previous generations of the Moto E do not have a fingerprint scanner. OnLeaks and Slashleaks do not mention any specifications of the devices.
This week also information came out about the upcoming Moto C series. Those should be the cheapest Lenovo smartphones under the Motorola banner, without fingerprint scanners and with MediaTek socs.
