Renders of Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL are coming online
Renders of Microsoft’s new high-end Lumias have appeared online. These are renders of the Lumia 950 and 950 XL, devices with a 5.2″ and 5.7″ screen respectively.
The renders show the front, back and side. The images are online set by Evleaks, who often published accurate information about smartphones early and in the past was the first to show images of the Nokia Lumia 920 and 820. Evleaks posted his tweet when a Neowin editor posted a photo placed of the Lumia 950.
The Lumia 950, previously codenamed Talkman, comes in a black finish, with a metal ring around the slightly protruding camera, which is said to have a resolution of 20 megapixels, assisted by three LED flashes. The Lumia 950 XL in the picture is blue and with this model the LED flash is placed a bit closer to the camera module. Both models also have a camera button on the renders. The Microsoft name is on the front, while the Microsoft logo is on the back.
The specifications of both devices have already appeared online. It was previously rumored that Microsoft will announce the Lumias at its own event in October, along with a new Surface tablet, among other things. The last time a high-end Lumia was announced was in April 2014 with the Lumia 930.
