Render shows presumably successor OnePlus 3 and 3T
A render has appeared online that would give an impression of what the successor to the OnePlus 3 and 3T would look like from the back. An Indian site got the render from one of its anonymous sources.
The IndiaToday render shows a smartphone with roughly the shape and buttons of the OnePlus 3T and 3, but without the prominent antenna lines on that device. In addition, a dual camera is visible on the back of the phone.
Few specs are known yet, but the site says it has heard that the dual camera should enable better lowlight photos. The front camera would be the same 16-megapixel module as in the OnePlus 3T.
OnePlus has released its devices in the summer so far. That seems to be happening again this year. Rumors have it that the Chinese manufacturer will skip the number 4 and call the device OnePlus 5. The number 4 is known as an unlucky number in some Asian countries. Manufacturers such as Samsung do not use the 4 in type numbers; for example, it went from the G930 for the Galaxy S7 to G950 for the Galaxy S8. Nevertheless, Samsung released a Galaxy S4 a few years ago.
