A render of a metal HTC smartphone called the One X10 has surfaced. The render shows the marketing slogan ‘big style meets big battery’, indicating that the manufacturer will place a high-capacity battery in the device.

With the name One X10, the name refers back to the One X9 that HTC presented at the end of 2015. The render, that twitterer @evleaks online posted, shows the back of the phone with a single camera and a fingerprint scanner. In recent smartphones, such as the HTC 10 and U Ultra, the scanner is located on the front.

The twitterer posted a render of the One X10 at the beginning of January, a device that has been rumored for months. It is probably a midrange smartphone. There are few reliable rumors about the capacity of the battery, but various sites report that it is a 3500mAh battery. That is considerably larger than the 3000mAh from the recent U Ultra.

It is unknown when HTC will present the device. In addition to the One X10, the manufacturer is reportedly also working on the HTC U, a device known under the code name Ocean. This device should distinguish itself with touch-sensitive sides.
