Render probably shows round design Google Pixel Watch
The Google Pixel Watch will most likely be a round smartwatch with a silver dial, with integration for Fitbit, among others. That can be seen in a render shown by Evleaks. The Pixel Watch will be Google’s first Wear OS smartwatch.
Evleaks has hands on the render of the Google Pixel Watch and says the design is in line with previous unofficial images of the smartwatch. The watch runs on Wear OS, which Google developed with Samsung.
It has been known for some time that Google is working on a competitor for the Apple Watch, codenamed Rohan. The first smartwatch from Google will get Fitbit integration and will be released May 26, according to the usually well-informed YouTuber Jon Prosser. The Pixel Watch is rumored to come in three different colors: gold, gray and black. The smartwatch would have 32GB of storage. Google has not yet officially announced or confirmed the existence of the Pixel Watch.
Google also wanted to release Pixel watches in 2016, Business Insider wrote in 2019, but development was discontinued. With the new Pixel Watch, Google hopes to regain a place in the smartwatch market, where Apple is dominant.
