Remaster Age of Mythology: Retold releases September 4 – update

The remaster of Age of Mythology will be released on September 4 this year and will be subtitled Retold. The game will be released on Xbox Series S and X, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

Microsoft mentioned the release date on Sunday night during the Xbox Showcase. The company also immediately released a new trailer for the game. Age of Mythology: Retold releases September 4. Age of Mythology: Retold is a remaster of the original Age of Mythology from 2002. Microsoft already announced it in 2022, but has shared few details about it since then. On the game's Steam page states that players can again choose from different gods from Greek, Norse and Egyptian mythology, and that there are fifty missions in the game.
