Regulatory body reveals details about new Kobo . e-reader
A new e-reader from Kobo is on the way, which has WiFi, Bluetooth and 32GB of storage space. This is evident from documents published by the FCC inspection body. It may be the Kobo Forma 2.
Regulatory body FCC provides details about connectivity and storage space, but further information is not visible. The photos are protected for another 180 days at the request of the manufacturer. The documents are submitted by Netronix. That is a Taiwanese manufacturer that makes e-readers on behalf of Rakuten Kobo.
Website Good e-Reader thinks it is a successor to the Kobo Forma. That’s the brand’s only e-reader to date with 32GB of storage. The manufacturer also referred to a Forma 2 on its website last month, with support for audiobooks.
Kobo released the first Forma in late 2018. That e-reader has a square design with physical buttons for scrolling and an 8″ screen with a 4:3 ratio and a resolution of 1440×1920 pixels. The model has ComfortLight Pro lighting with adjustable color temperature.
