Registration shows GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, 3070 Ti, 3060 and 3050 coming
Video card maker Manli has submitted registrations for four GeForce RTX 30 cards that have not yet been officially announced. It concerns an RTX 3080 Ti, 3070 Ti, 3060 and 3050. The cards are rumored to be released in January.
The names of the cards can be seen at the Eurasian Economic Commission. These are registrations from Manli, a video card manufacturer from Hong Kong. The listings were noticed by Twitter user Komachi and VideoCardz publishes about it. Specifications of the video cards are not mentioned, but EEC registrations have proven to be a reliable source in the past. Much hardware is committed to the trading authority for the official announcement.
Rumors have been going on for some time about the various new video cards. The RTX 3080 Ti would be equipped with a GA102-250 GPU, with 10,496 CUDA cores. The card would have as many cores as the RTX 3090. The card would have 20GB Gddr6x memory on board, double the regular RTX 3080, but less than the 24GB of the RTX 3090.
The RTX 3070 Ti has also been rumored several times. Presumably it is a card with 7424 CUDA cores and 10GB Gddr6x memory. This means that the card has considerably more cores than the RTX 3070 and also more and faster vram.
With the introduction of the RTX 3060 Ti, Nvidia already indicated that it was the first card in a series of 3060 cards. The registration shows that a regular RTX 3060 is on the way. According to VideoCardz, there are two variants of this, with 12GB and 3840 CUDA cores and with 6GB and 3548 CUDA cores.
The RTX 3050 is said to be the first video card based on the GA107 GPU and equipped with 4GB GDDR6 memory. It is the first time that Nvidia is releasing a map with support for ray tracing in this segment. In the previous generation, the cheapest card with ray tracing scores was the RTX 2060.
