Refresh Dell Inspiron laptop line leaked
Dells is going to refresh its Inspiron notebook line with a look similar to its XPS laptop line, according to leaked information on Engadget. A blu-ray player is optional.
These are the Inspiron models 1435, 1535 and 1735 for the mainstream market with a 14″, 15″ and a 17″ screen respectively. The current Inspiron line lacks a 14″ version. The new series will be according to the information from Engadget comes with up to a Core 2 Duo T5850 processor at 2.16GHz, while a blu-ray player is optional. The optical player is of the slot-loading type. Furthermore, the three new laptops are equipped with fingerprint recognition and multimedia keys, and there is an option for a backlit keyboard.
Like the current Inspiron series, the new product line will be available with a colored top or with a pattern. It is unknown if a version will also appear with Mike Ming imprint.
The 15″ version will be available from May 26, while the 17″ version will be available from June 9. The 14″ Inspiron has been delayed until October for unknown reasons. Pricing for the new Inspiron line has yet to be announced.
