Redmagic shows a 4k gaming monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse
Redmagic, the gaming arm of Chinese manufacturer Nubia, is showing three products for its 2023 Western lineup: a 4k monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse. Prices and release dates are not yet known.
The least information is given about the 4k monitor. Redmagic just writes that the product has a refresh rate of 160Hz and contains an IPS panel with mini LED backlight. The monitor also comes with a 90W USB-C port. Further specifications, including dimensions, are not mentioned. However, it seems to be the 27” monitor that the company last year introduced in China. This includes HDR1000 and mmWave support and a latency of 1.7ms.
The wireless gaming keyboard includes TTC Silver V2 switches, a volume dial and comes with pbt keycaps. The keys are sealed. It is possible to connect the keyboard via a USB-C cable, or wirelessly via a 2.4 GHz connection or via Bluetooth. With the latter option, according to Redmagic, it lasts about 200 hours without being charged in the meantime. What the battery life is with a 2.4 GHz connection is not mentioned.
The wireless mouse will have a transparent design, let Redmagic know. It weighs 75g and has a sensitivity of 26,000dpi at 1000Hz. As with the keyboard, there are three ways to connect the device: via a 2.4 GHz connection, bluetooth or a USB-C cable. The mouse comes with a 500mAh battery, but Redmagic does not write how long the battery lasts with both wireless options.
When the products will become available in the West and at what price is not mentioned. Redmagic says only that they will be available in its online store “in the near future”.
