Reddit user recreates Kanto evolved Pokémon starters using LEGO
Reddit user eyemcantoeknees has recreated the three starter Pokémon from the Kanto region: Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur using LEGO bricks. The user also made LEGO versions of Dragonite, Vileplume and the legendary Pokémon Mewtwo, among others.
On Reddit eyemcantoeknees shares a photo of the LEGO creations, as well as a reference to tutorial videos on his YouTube channel Brickmill Studios. In addition to Pokémon, eyemcantoeknees has recreated several characters from the manga series One Piece and Naruto.
Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur are among the most famous Pokémon in the franchise. They first appeared in Europe in Pokémon Red and Blue. The trio form the last evolved forms of Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur. The Reddit user says he hasn’t started on the iconic Pikachu yet, but plans to.
Earlier, another Reddit user, Ddave_, also made one Charmander made of LEGO blocks in life-size format. He also made a Bulbasaur from 10,000 LEGO bricks and a masterball.
