Former Oppo subsidiary Realme has confirmed that the upcoming X2 Pro smartphone will have a display that will reach a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz. In addition, it has been confirmed that the device will receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ as a soc.

Derek Wang, the chief product officer of Realme, posted on Weibo a screenshot of a settings menu of the Realme X2 Pro, which shows a toggle that allows you to set the refresh rate to 60 or 90Hz. The screenshot also shows that nfc is supported.

No other information about the phone can be distilled from Derek Wang’s accompanying brief explanation. Earlier this month, he already reported that a new Realme device is coming with a 90Hz screen and that it would be cheaper than the OnePlus 7 Pro. He also previously indicated that the phone will not receive 5G support.

Another Realme chief executive, chief marketing officer Xu Qi Chase, has also posted information about the phone on Weibo. He says the X2 Pro will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+.

More information about the X2 Pro is not yet known. The Chinese manufacturer announced the Realme XT a month ago. This phone will have a primary camera with a resolution of 64 megapixels. Realme phones usually do not come out in the Benelux.
