Smartphone brand Realme has shown the first photos of its new smartphone GT. It can be concluded from this that the phone has a 3.5 mm jack, a function that is not often seen in high-end smartphones in recent years.

The photos also show that the Realme GT has three camera lenses on the back, including a primary camera with a resolution of 64 megapixels, as can be seen in the teaser images. Realme has put the images online itself in the run-up to the presentation at the end of next week.

The Realme GT has a 120Hz OLED screen and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 soc, the latest high-end soc from the American chip designer. The phone has 12GB of lpddr5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Further specs are not yet clear. The pictures do show a 3.5mm jack, a port that many manufacturers omit from high-end models.

In addition to the gray-blue variant from the teaser images, there will also be a yellow variant with a fake leather back and slightly different design, according to photos from GSMArena. Realme will praise the phone at Mobile World Congress Shanghai, the telecom fair that will physically take place this week in the Chinese city of Shanghai. Normally, MWC Shanghai was at the end of June and MWC Barcelona in February, but this year it has been reversed due to the corona pandemic. Realme is one of the brands of BBK Electronics and can therefore purchase components together with Oppo, Vivo and OnePlus, among others.
