Realme releases X3 SuperZoom smartphone with 120Hz screen for 499 euros
Realme has announced the X3 SuperZoom. The smartphone with Snapdragon 855+ soc, periscopic camera and 120Hz screen appears on the European market for a suggested retail price of 499 euros.
Oppo sister company realme unveiled the X3 SuperZoom during a video stream on Tuesday and the product page is now online. The smartphone has a 6.6″ screen with an LCD panel, a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 offers a maximum brightness of 480cd/m².
There are holes in the screen for the two front cameras. One is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and the other is a 32-megapixel camera with Sony IMX616 sensor. The primary camera of the module on the back is a 64-megapixel model and realme combines it with an 8-megapixel variant with periscopic 5x zoom with optical image stabilization. In addition, there is a camera with a macro lens.
The battery capacity is 4200mAh and the manufacturer supplies a 30W charger, with which the device can be fully recharged in 55 minutes. Realme will take preorders from Tuesday and will start sales on June 2. That will happen first in Europe, then the rest of the world. The price is 499 euros and for that amount versions of the X3 SuperZoom in white and blue are available, with Snapdragon 855 + soc, 12GB ram and 256GB ufs 3.0 storage.
Realme announced the 6s at the same time. This is a smartphone with a MediaTek Helio G90T soc. The screen has a diagonal of 6.5 “and shows 2400×1080 pixels at a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz. There are four cameras on the back: one of 48 megapixels, a macro model of 2 megapixels, a black and white camera of also 2 megapixels and an ultra wide-angle camera The realme 6s will appear on June 2 in white and black for a starting price of 199 euros and for that amount the smartphone contains 4GB of ram and 64GB of storage.
