Reading mode in Google Chrome gets PDF support

Spread the love

The experimental Canary build of Google Chrome now supports PDF files in reading mode, a distraction-free environment where the user can adjust font size, line spacing, and text color. The reading function would also work with PDF files.

In addition, earlier this month Google made it easier for Canary users to enter reading mode, via the menu that opens by right-clicking on a web page. Regular Chrome users can enter Reading Mode by enabling Reading Mode via flags; PDFs are not yet supported this way. It is unknown if and when Reading Mode will become available to all Chrome users.
